Job summary

Lochner, an Egis Company, is seeking a seasonal internship in Pittsburgh or Harrisburg, PA. You will perform roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering design under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager to support plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering, with strong verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with CAD software. EIT eligibility is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Engineering experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Graduation from an accredited engineering program with a BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering is expected.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CAD software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering design under a PM.
  • Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates with the project team.
  • Conduct site visits and other assigned duties.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist engineers and PMs with assignments as needed.
