Job summary

Your Impact
  • Experienced in the design of roadways and drainage for INDOT (or other DOT clients) with the ability to oversee and assist in analyses, developing calculations, and preparing contract documents (PS&E) in accordance with state and local agency requirements.
  • Working within a team of roadway engineers in the preparation of design and contract documents for transportation projects.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope.
Who You Are
  • BS in Civil Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • Candidate may report in‑office or work a hybrid schedule. Indiana resident highly preferred.
  • 5–8 years of demonstrated experience in roadway and/or bridge design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients. INDOT experience is a plus.
  • Experience in design software. Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Traffic modeling, roundabout design, drainage design, and/or highway lighting design experience is a plus.
