Job summary

Pape-Dawson is seeking Civil Graduates to join our Georgia offices in Atlanta, Marietta, Duluth, and Alpharetta after December 2026 and May 2027 graduation. You will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of land development projects under a licensed P.E. mentor.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program is required.
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months from start date.
Internship experience with a civil design firm is beneficial.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects (grading, drainage, utilities).
Analyze design alternatives to address constraints and meet client objectives.
Collaborate on permitting and regulatory compliance for site development.
Prepare technical reports and documentation using MS Office Suite.
Direct and review work of engineering technicians for accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop engineering solutions.
