Pape-Dawson Engineers in Georgia is seeking Civil Graduates graduating in December 2026 or May 2027 to join our Atlanta-area offices in Atlanta, Marietta, Duluth, and Alpharetta. The Civil Graduate will focus on land development and assist in design, analysis, and implementation of projects within an engineering team.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects (grading, drainage, utilities).
• Analyze design alternatives to address site constraints and meet client objectives.
• Collaborate on permitting and regulatory compliance for site development.
• Prepare technical reports, studies, and documentation using MS Office.
• Direct and review the work of engineering technicians for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams on engineering solutions.

Job description

Job Description: Pape-Dawson is seeking Civil Graduates in our Georgia offices following December 2026 and May 2027 graduation. The Civil Graduate will focus on land development and is available in Atlanta, Marietta, Duluth, and Alpharetta. This position will contribute to the successful design, analysis, and implementation of projects within an engineering team. This role includes assisting in technical design, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer (P.E.).

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects, focusing on grading, drainage, and utility layoutsAnalyze design alternatives to address site constraints and meet client objectivesCollaborate on permitting and regulatory compliance for site development projectPrepare technical reports, studies, and documentation using tools such as MS Office SuiteDirect and review the work of engineering technicians to ensure accuracy and qualityCollaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutionsAdditional related duties as needed

Qualifications
