Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking Civil Graduates in Georgia for our Atlanta area offices to contribute to land development design and coordination under a licensed P.E.

You will assist in planning, grading, drainage, and utility layouts, prepare technical reports, review work, and collaborate with project managers and other disciplines to deliver compliant, quality projects. ABET-accredited degree and EIT within 12 months preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Internship with civil design firm beneficial.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of plans for site development projects, focusing on grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Analyze design alternatives to meet project objectives and constraints.
• Collaborate on permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation using MS Office.
• Direct and review work of engineering technicians for quality.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
