Pape-Dawson Engineers invites Civil Engineering graduates to join our Georgia offices in Atlanta, Marietta, Duluth, and Alpharetta after December 2026 and May 2027 graduation. You will contribute to land development design, analysis, and project implementation under a P.E.

mentor, assisting in technical design, coordination, and compliance. You’ll work with a team on grading, drainage, utilities, and site development while preparing reports and supporting permitting efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months from start date.
• Internship with a civil design firm is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and roadway/site design.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects.
• Analyze design alternatives to address site constraints and objectives.
• Collaborate on permitting and regulatory compliance for site development.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation using MS Office; review junior work.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams on engineering solutions.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.
