Job summary

Core States Group in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Civil Engineering Designer to shape and deliver land development projects. You will apply engineering concepts to produce construction plans, grading, road design, and technical reports, collaborating with clients and sub-consultants.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of site development design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or willingness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges.
• Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents.
• Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application.
• Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
• Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements.
• Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials.
• Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets.
• Attend project meetings.
