Core States Group is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineering Designer to shape and deliver a wide range of land development projects. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are ready to make a meaningful industry impact, this opportunity is for you!

You will work on constructing plans, cost estimates, and coordination with agencies, with a focus on AutoCAD Civil 3D design and regulatory compliance. Onsite roles are based in multiple offices, with Florida remote possibilities for qualified Florida

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of experience in site development design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability and desire to work in teams to accomplish shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges.
• Prepare construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents.
• Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications.
• Prepare grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
• Perform detailed calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and project presentation materials.
• Assist project engineers in completing projects on time and within budgets.
• Attend project meetings.
