Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a seasoned civil engineer and business development professional to identify and secure new opportunities, especially in the Southern Region focused on Texas and Louisiana, with an emphasis on cross‑border gas exports to Mexico.

You will manage existing relationships, lead negotiations, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to evaluate, design, and implement large-scale infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 7 years of experience as a Business Development Specialist, Civil Engineer, or closely related position.
• Experience in natural gas transportation with a focus on engineering design or in a commercial role, project scoping and feasibility analysis.
• Proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Up to 25% travel to business sites/customer locations in the US, Mexico, and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business while assessing technical feasibility and optimizing value.
• Maintain the customer base and increase profitability for Enbridge GTM assets in the Southern Region (TX and LA).
• Help develop demand pull from Mexican markets and manage BD activities including review, evaluation, contract negotiation and approvals.
• Develop technically feasible projects and oversee them from inception through execution.
• Scope projects and craft alternate options to select efficient solutions for commercial opportunities.
• Support commercial origination strategy for Enbridge GTM assets in the Southern Region.
• Use knowledge of Mexican markets to create opportunities for more natural gas exports into Mexico.
• Lead sourcing and development of civil engineering projects with large capital investments.
• Maintain communication with existing customers for renewals and expansion opportunities.
