Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Austin South, Texas office in 2027 for entry-level roles. This is not a remote position, and you will contribute to design, planning, and analysis across projects while learning industry-standard software.

You'll gain exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS as you develop skill sets under experienced mentors.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree to be completed by Summer 2027.
• Majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, and permitting.
• Solve complex problems and collaborate across disciplines on client projects.
• Learn software programs specific to disciplines (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS).
