Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Austin, TX is seeking engineering graduates to join our office in 2027. This is not a remote position and you will contribute to pre-construction civil design and analysis across multiple projects.

You will work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, GIS and related tools while learning federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn practices. An ABET-accredited degree by Summer 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree expected by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil/Environmental Engineering and related fields.
• Engineering Technology is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, produce, and QC deliverables using technical software.
• Assist in pre-construction civil engineering design and permitting.
• Solve problems and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Learn regulations and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
• Gain familiarity with industry software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS, etc.).
