Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Miami, FL is seeking engineering graduates to join our office in 2027. This is not a remote position and you will contribute to pre-construction civil projects, use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, GIS and related tools, and work with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver client visions.

You will learn regulatory requirements and develop designs while collaborating with project managers.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree expected by Summer 2027.
  • Majors include Civil/Environmental or related engineering fields.
  • Demonstrated CAD software familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to translate client visions into plans.
  • Learn regulations and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
  • Develop familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS and related tools.
