Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering graduates to join our Mobile, Alabama office in 2027. This is not a remote position and offers a full-time, on-site entry-level opportunity.

Responsibilities include using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables, while supporting pre-construction design, permitting, and cross-disciplinary collaboration under the supervision of project managers.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027 in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related majors.
• Majors include Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Develop familiarity with regulations and company practices and standards.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
