Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Albuquerque, New Mexico office in 2027. This is not a remote position and provides exposure to civil engineering design, planning, and analysis across multiple projects.

Graduates will work with software tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS while learning regulatory practices and client standards in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 is required.
• Majors listed in qualifications include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering and Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Analysts will learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.
