Kimley-Horn is expanding its Everett, Washington office in 2027 and seeking engineering graduates to join. This is not a remote position.

You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, and other tools to analyze and QC deliverables while learning regulatory requirements and collaborating with PMs across disciplines. The role requires an ABET-accredited degree by Summer 2027 in Civil/Environmental or related fields, with a salary range of $84,000 to $95,500, and a strong onboarding of

Qualifications

  • ABET accredited engineering degree in Civil/Environmental or related fields by Summer 2027.
  • Proficiency with listed software tools or willingness to learn them as part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and client practices.
  • Learn one or more software programs: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
