Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering graduates to join our Dallas, Texas office in 2027. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include using technical software to analyze and QC client deliverables, supporting pre-construction civil engineering design, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to shape project outcomes. ABET-accredited degrees in civil/environmental or related fields are required by Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited engineering degree expected by Summer 2027 with related major focus.
• Degrees relevant to civil/environmental or related engineering fields are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices.
• Learn software programs specific to disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
