Job summary

TJ Consulting Group in Lima, OH is seeking a Civil Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support facility and infrastructure work at a large industrial site. The role is hands-on, involves reviewing work orders, walking the plant floor, and keeping projects moving on schedule.

You will coordinate with government CORs and GDLS, monitor progress, and report metrics. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and strong communication are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience supporting construction, facilities, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to review technical documentation and track progress.
• Strong communication with multiple teams daily.

Responsibilities

• Review Construction Work Orders tied to plant equipment, infrastructure, and facilities work.
• Track project scope, progress, and day-to-day status.
• Monitor project execution to ensure schedule and requirements alignment.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of the plant to check progress and flag issues.
• Provide updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify facility or infrastructure problems and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with government CORs and GDLS to align communications.
• Track and report project metrics.
• Join meetings and coordinate via Teams, email, and phone.
