Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and construction teams, third-party contractors, and government partners to support infrastructure and security improvement projects
  • Utilize drawings, specifications, photographs, and other documentation to assess and enhance site and building security
  • Review and provide technical feedback on analysis, design, and construction deliverables
  • Coordinate with program managers to develop and maintain program strategies, schedules, budgets, and planning documentation
  • Document meetings, track project activities, and maintain records of program initiatives
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support the planning and execution of design and construction projects
  • Assist in developing Scopes of Work (SOWs) and preparing contract packages for future acquisitions
  • Develop, organize, and maintain project files and documentation
  • Conduct research related to project requirements, including:
  • Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations documenting research findings
  • Support coordination with contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and government representatives on construction initiatives

Job description

Markon is seeking four Civil Engineers in support of a proposed contract effort with the United States Secret Service (USSS) to advance the agency’s protective mission. The Civil Engineers will provide engineering and project support for site and facility security initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) teams, third-party contractors, and government stakeholders.
