Qualifications

• One year civil engineering experience or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Must have Engineer-in-Training certificate or be within nine months of graduation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• PA residency waiver may apply.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through engineering districts to learn procedures and workflows.
• Attend designated classroom instruction to expand technical knowledge.
• Work screening to ensure accuracy and proper methods.
• Assist with highway and bridge design, construction, and maintenance.
• Prepare for final placement based on department needs and individual development.
