Qualifications

• One year of civil engineering experience and a valid Engineer-in-Training certificate.
• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related field with major coursework in civil engineering.
• Candidates may be considered if within ten months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Responsibilities

• Survey support: Assist with field surveys for highway and bridge projects.
• Design tasks: Help complete bridge designs, safety reviews, and plan preparation.
• Project preparation: Assemble materials for highway and bridge construction efforts.
• Maintenance assistance: Support district or county teams with maintenance and traffic engineering tasks.
• Engineering exposure: Gain experience across bridge, transportation, and soils engineering activities.
