Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a Development Civil Engineer to provide dedicated civil engineering support for Community Solar and pre-NTP development. You will lead stormwater input, site layout considerations, and discretionary permit exhibits, working early in the development process and coordinating with internal teams and third-party engineers.

You will review geotechnical and wetland reports, build permitting reference material, and assist with hearings and internal design reviews.

Qualifications

BS degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
3+ years of civil engineering experience with stormwater management and erosion control design.
Active EIT certification.
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
Experience preparing or reviewing stormwater management and site permitting exhibits.
Ability to interpret geotechnical and wetland delineation reports.

Responsibilities

Provide civil & stormwater input for pre-NTP development and discretionary permitting.
Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, and feasibility studies.
Review reports and coordinate with third-party engineers and developers.
Develop permit exhibits for Special Use/Conditional Use Permits.
Support internal design reviews and project hand-offs to construction teams.
Coordinate with electrical engineers to optimize feasible designs.
Attend meetings with communities and authorities as needed.
