Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables in Boulder, CO, seeks a Development Civil Engineer to provide dedicated civil engineering support for Community Solar and other pre-NTP development. You will handle conceptual stormwater management, site constraints, and discretionary permit exhibits, engaging early in the development process.

Responsibilities include grading and drainage input, coordinating with internal teams and third‑party firms, reviewing geotechnical and wetland data, preparing technical exhibits for

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 3+ years of professional civil engineering experience with stormwater management/erosion control design.
• EIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual and preliminary stormwater management & Special Use Permit exhibits for Community Solar and other pre-NTP projects.
• Provide early civil engineering input on site layout, grading, drainage and stormwater feasibility.
• Review geotechnical and wetland delineation reports to support buildable site design and cost optimization.
• Prepare technical exhibits and provide meeting support for discretionary permit hearings and internal design reviews.
• Coordinate with construction-tracked civil engineering staff and with electrical engineers to ensure smooth handoffs and feasible designs.
