T2 Utility Engineers in Palatine, IL is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate client and design team activities, ensure quality, manage schedules and budgets. The role emphasizes mentoring team members and delivering high-quality utility engineering solutions.

The successful candidate will lead client relations, develop business opportunities, and oversee proposals and project planning while traveling to progress reviews as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in civil engineering with 4–7 years’ civil experience.
• Must be a licensed PE or in the process of obtaining PE.
• Strong written and oral communication and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients to obtain work.
• Develops and maintains relationships with existing and new clients.
• Prepare business activity and forecast reports.
• Monitor and evaluate the activities of the competition.
• Support the local office or regional marketing efforts.
• Working with proposal team and respond to RFIs, proposals, and quotations.
• Oversees QA/QC to ensure high quality deliverables.
