Job summary

T2 Utility Engineers in Knoxville invites a Project Manager to mentor team members and coordinate with clients and design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will oversee QA/QC, develop client relationships, and support regional marketing initiatives.

The role requires a civil engineering background, PE licensure or progress toward it, and strong communication and leadership skills. Proficiency with industry tools is a plus, and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed professional engineer, or in the process of obtaining it.
• 4-7 years' experience in civil engineering, or 6-8 years in a related field.
• Ability to network to obtain strategic growth KPIs for new business and key clients.
• Strong written and oral communication, supervisory and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, GEOPAK, CAiCE, AutoCAD / Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients to obtain work and develop relationships.
• Report on client and competitor activities and initiate action.
• Monitor and evaluate competition and prepare forecasts.
• Support local office or regional marketing efforts and respond to information requests.
• Lead work plans, assemble project teams, delegate tasks and ensure scope compliance.
• Review design calculations, submittals, and specifications for QA/QC.
