Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and extended/odd hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Paving & Infrastructure Project Management: plan and design substantial multi-phase projects with emphasis on asphalt and concrete pavement.
• Design & Coordination: lead design teams and coordinate planning, design, cost estimating, and phased scheduling of paving projects.
• Consultation & Problem Solving: provide professional consultations on difficult civil engineering and paving issues (material selection, subgrade stabilization, drainage).
• Liaison & Oversight: act as design liaison with Army Corps of Engineers or other design agencies; represent contracting officer in design contracts.
• Documentation & SOW: prepare and review A/E statements of work to define paving criteria and specs.
• Site Surveys & Inspections: perform preconstruction surveys and manage as-built drawings; conduct pavement surveys for future repairs.
