Job summary

Stillpoint AEC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Civil Engineer with land development and site civil expertise to lead and support residential, commercial, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, and institutional projects.

You will design sites, grading and drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems, while coordinating with clients, municipalities, and design teams. This role offers hybrid/onsite work and opportunities for PE licensure and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Land development or site civil design experience preferred.
• Experience with site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, erosion control, and construction documentation.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates progress toward PE considered.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development and site civil design.
• Experience with stormwater/hydrologic/hydraulic modelling software such as HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, ICPR.
• Working knowledge of development standards, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Experience preparing calculations, plans, specs, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Design land development and site civil projects for residential, commercial, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, and institutional sites.
• Perform site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design and prepare construction documents.
• Develop site layouts, grading, drainage, and detailed civil drawings.
• Design water, sewer, storm drainage, and detention facilities and related infrastructure.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic calculations and stormwater analyses.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, and permitting packages.
• Support feasibility studies, due diligence, design development, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with developers, architects, municipalities, utilities, and contractors.
• Provide mentorship and client interaction based on experience.
