Kimley-Horn's Saint Paul, Minnesota office seeks a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. You will perform site development engineering, manage projects, and design land development site layouts for residential and commercial work.

Strong client coordination and team collaboration are essential. The role includes permitting, utility and drainage design, and development of plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks.
• Coordinate with clients, attend meetings, and oversee quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to build plan sets.
• Design experience including utilities, site layout, drainage, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Develop land development site designs and coordinate across teams.
• Monitor budgets, progress, and schedules; prepare bid packages and specs.
• Assist in client meetings and foster external relationships.
• Collaborate with jurisdictions, contractors, and internal staff on projects.
