Job summary

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) seeks an experienced Civil Engineer for our Land Development team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of private land development and is proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with design experience in grading, stormwater, utilities, and road design.

This is a full-time, in-office role in our Raleigh office. Visa sponsorship is not available. Local candidates preferred and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and PE license required or actively pursuing.
• 3–6 years of private land development experience preferred.
• proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design concepts and docs.
• Experience in grading, stormwater, utilities, and site infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage private land development projects from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and construction documents.
• Prepare site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities and road design.
• Coordinate with project team to meet goals, schedules, and client expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to staff as needed.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
