Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Orlando, FL office seeks a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of site development experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote role and you will contribute to residential and commercial projects through design and coordination.

You will manage tasks from concept design to permit applications, collaborate with clients and jurisdictions, oversee budgets and schedules, and help develop plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management and project management tasks.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients and overseeing quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Work with a team of engineers and designers on diverse projects.
• Build strong internal and external professional relationships.
