Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Lake Nona, Florida office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This on-site role involves performing site development engineering and project management for residential and commercial projects, and coordinating with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors.

Candidates should have a PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months, experience with site civil design, permitting, AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and strong task and staff

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management and project management tasks.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• This role will involve building plan sets and other construction documents.
• Collaborate with team members, clients, jurisdictions, and contractors.
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external professional relationships.
