Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Boca-Delray, Florida office seeks a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote position and you will work closely with engineers and designers on residential and commercial projects.

You will perform site development engineering and project management tasks, coordinate with clients and jurisdictions, and contribute to bid packages, cost estimates, and permitting for land disturbance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Develop land development site designs.
• Assist in research, coordination, project management, staff management, cost estimating, permitting for land disturbance and bid package preparation; include technical specifications.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Build meaningful internal and external professional relationships.
• Collaborate with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors.
