Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Akron, Ohio office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote position.

You will perform site development engineering and project management for residential and commercial projects, lead land development site designs, and coordinate with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors. Opportunity to grow within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong project management and client coordination skills.
• Ability to develop plan sets and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Lead land development site designs and coordinate with clients and jurisdictions.
• Assist in budgets, schedules, and cost estimating; prepare bid packages and specs.
• Monitor project progress and quality; manage staff and contractors.
• Build relationships with clients, jurisdictions, and industry professionals; collaborate with team.
