Civil Design Engineer II

We are seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer II to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently within a collaborative project team and gain hands-on experience in site development design. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop site plans and construction documents using CAD software
2. Perform grading design, earthwork calculations, and erosion control planning
3. Prepare engineering reports and design calculations
4. Collaborate with project managers and fellow design team members
5. Conduct research on design standards, regulations, and jurisdictional requirements

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of design experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• EIT license or PE capable preferred

Required Skills / Abilities

• Computer Aided Drafting utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Stormwater Modeling using HydroCAD, Storm CAD, ICPR, SWMM, or equivalent
• Microsoft Excel and Word-generated reporting

Travel:

Minimal travel required, primarily local during business hours, with some out-of-area and overnight travel possible.
