Job summary

Windsor Engineers in Portland, OR is seeking a Civil Engineer to support project teams delivering infrastructure solutions under supervision. You will engage in engineering calculations, drafting with AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Revit, and planning activities to translate concepts into detailed designs while upholding Windsor's quality standards.

The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and ongoing learning with opportunities for site visits and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in CAD, Civil3D modeling and drafting (Coursework counts).
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
• EIT Certification Preferred
• Familiarity with reading and understanding technical documents
• Experience with drafting and modeling tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, GIS, and Bluebeam
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong written, verbal and technical communication skills, and ability to work on a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Windsor's core values through positive representation and relationship building.
• Assist Project Engineers with infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, and land development.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical work under supervision.
• Draft and model with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit.
• Support project delivery through engineering, drafting, and planning activities.
• Assist with project plans, specifications, and cost/quantity take-offs.
• Approach daily work with enthusiasm and view challenges as opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing learning of industry standards and codes.
• Complete site visits as needed.
