Job summary

Metric Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join our Georgetown office. You will support a growing portfolio of land development and public facilities projects, including roads, utilities, drainage, and site development.

The role offers mentorship within a collaborative team focused on professional growth and exposure to diverse site development and infrastructure work in Central Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification required or actively pursuing.
• 2+ years of experience in land development, site design, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of land/site development and public facility and infrastructure projects, including grading, drainage, and utility systems.
• Prepare construction documents, plans, and technical specifications.
• Perform stormwater management, hydrology/hydraulic calculations, and site layout design.
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Participate in field visits, site inspections, and project meetings.
