Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; related experience may substitute education.
- Knowledge of civil engineering, highways, bridges, storm sewers, and traffic/transportation.
- Ability to read plans, prepare documentation, and supervise safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating road/highway/traffic projects with ODOT and local jurisdictions.
- Assist in planning future Capital Improvements Projects and design work.
- Prepare drawings, maps, estimates, and repair/reconstruction plans for infrastructure.
- Visit sites to observe work progress and ensure compliance with specs.
- Review plans and specifications for county infrastructure projects.
