Job summary

Infrastructure Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer Inspector to support the Cincinnati, Ohio / Northern Kentucky area. This is an entry-to-mid level field role focusing on bridge and roadway construction inspection.

You will work with the Resident Engineer and project team ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and safety standards. The position emphasizes hands-on field experience, documentation, and collaboration with experienced inspectors and engineers on a major transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years of related construction inspection experience.
• High school diploma with 4+ years of related construction inspection experience.
• Familiarity with DOT/agency standards preferred.
• Ability to pass OSHA test and obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support daily inspection activities for bridge, roadway, ramp work.
• Observe activities and verify compliance with plans and specs.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and project records.
• Assist with tracking quantities and documenting construction progress.
• Support materials testing and documentation.
• Review drawings, plans, and contract documents.
• Identify and communicate safety/quality concerns to the project lead.
