The role focuses on field inspection of bridge, roadway, and related infrastructure under a Resident Engineer or Senior Inspector, with emphasis on safety, plan adherence, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; 2+ years inspection experience preferred.
• Experience with transportation infrastructure and ability to read plans.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily inspection activities for bridge, roadway, ramp, and related infrastructure work.
• Maintain clear daily inspection reports, field notes, quantities, and project records.
• Assist with tracking installed quantities and documenting construction progress.
• Review construction drawings, plans and contract documents to understand project requirements.
