Wilson & Company’s Omaha, Nebraska office is seeking a Roadway Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Open Roads Designer.
• Collaborate with experienced designers and project managers as well as other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects.
• Primarily work on projects in Nebraska with opportunities to support regional projects.
• Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (E.I.T.) certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• 0‑3 years of experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations.
• Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
• Experience in CADD design software.

Annual salary range: $79,000—$135,000.
