Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects, seeks a Civil Engineer in Training to join the Salina design team. The role focuses on roadway design and modeling using Microstation OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, coordinating with PMs, peer engineers and the CADD team to meet project deadlines.

The candidate should have a 0–3 year track record in street/highway design and possess or be able to obtain an EIT certification, with strong communication skills and a professional work

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain.
• 0–3 years’ experience in design of streets/highways.
• Experience with federal, state and local regulations affecting street/highway design.
• Experience with Microstation Roadway Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of roadway design plans and contract documents.
• Coordinate roadway design with PMs, peer engineers and CADD team.
• Interact with team members and attend industry conferences/seminars when appropriate.
• Develop strong client relationships and maintain professional work ethic.
• Contribute to engineering principles and project deadlines across multiple regions.
