The Town of Erie is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer III to join our Public Works Department. This position plays a key role in shaping the Town's infrastructure by managing the design and construction of capital improvement projects, reviewing development plans, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Under the supervision of the Town Engineer, the Civil Engineer III will perform professional engineering work, collaborate with external agencies, lead and supervise engineers, and contribute to long-term planning, including the Town's 5-year Capital Improvement Plan. This role offers room for independent judgment and problem-solving, providing an exciting opportunity to impact our growing community. Work Location: Town Hall - 645 Holbrook St, Erie CO 80516
Anticipated Work Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week) with some nights and weekends as needed.
Salary Range: $88,355/year - $106,026/year (anticipated hiring range); Full salary range up to $123,696/year.

Licenses/Registrations:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Principles of civil engineering, office software, CAD/GIS, contract management, effective communication, technical report writing, data analysis, and relationship building.
