Job summary

Castillo Engineering Inc. seeks a Civil Engineer II to own civil design packages for utility-scale solar and energy storage across the full project lifecycle. You will coordinate across disciplines, deliver designs through feasibility, permitting, and construction, and support interconnection and regulatory submissions.

A PE license or active EIT with a clear path to PE is strongly preferred. You will mentor junior staff, develop CAD standards, and help refine design templates and calculation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of civil site design experience.
• PE licensure or active EIT with path to PE within 12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of complete civil site design packages for utility-scale solar facilities.
• Develop and QC Civil 3D models and earthwork optimization.
• Coordinate with hydrological analysis for stormwater management.
• Prepare and review construction documents for permit submissions.
• Mentor Engineer I staff and contribute to SOPs and templates.
