Job summary

Revamp Engineering Inc. is seeking a Civil Design Engineer II/III to design site layouts, grading, drainage, and roads for utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects in the United States.

You will develop Civil land development sheet sets in AutoCAD and Civil 3D and collaborate with structural, electrical, environmental, and project management teams. Candidates should have a civil engineering degree and 2+ years (Engineer II) or 5+ years (Engineer III) of applicable design experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years for Engineer II and 5+ years for Engineer III in civil design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience creating civil land development sheet sets (grading, drainage, roads).
• Strong understanding of design codes and able to document engineering judgments.
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create site layouts and civil land development sheet sets in AutoCAD/Civil 3D for solar PV and energy storage projects.
• Design site grading, earthwork, and drainage balancing constructability and cost.
• Lay out access roads, internal roads, and laydown areas to meet requirements.
• Prepare stormwater and erosion control plans with calculations.
• Evaluate site constraints and develop responsive layouts.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and documentation for development and permits.
• Lead portions of civil scope on small projects and coordinate with team members.
• Support schedule, budget, and progress reporting; mentor junior staff.
