Responsibilities

• Regulates development of subdivisions and commercial sites by reviewing construction plans for compliance with codes and standards.
• Inspects ongoing developments and issues violation notices and stop-work orders when needed.
• Issues Land Disturbing Activities permits and drafts new policies or amendments to ordinances.
• Coordinates with the County Manager, Commissioners and department heads to advise on projects.
• Prepares reports, charts, graphs, maps and correspondence related to projects and agendas.
