Job summary

PacRim Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer in San Diego to perform general civil engineering work under the supervision of a project manager.

You will deliver engineering studies, land development designs, BODs, and PS&E packages for municipalities, DoD agencies, and private developers. The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET), 3–5 years of civil experience, and preferably an active EIT in California.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (ABET) required.
• 3–5 years civil engineering experience.
• EIT CA preferred.
• Experience with DoD agencies is a plus.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project manager in supervision and execution of various projects.
• Develop site designs, street improvements, and grading plans.
• Prepare reports, basis of design, PS&E packages, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate utility design, permitting, and construction support.
