PacRim Engineering, Inc. in San Diego is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead design teams and oversee a range of civil projects for municipal, DoD, and private clients.

You will supervise engineers, plan designs, and ensure quality deliverables, budgets, and schedules. The role requires a PE license (California preferred), a BS in Civil Engineering, and minimum 10 years of civil experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license (CA preferred).
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage client communications and coordination with partner firms.
• Oversee site engineering design for buildings and parking facilities.
• Design street improvements and pavement rehabilitation.
• Perform grading, storm drainage, and water/sewer design tasks.
• Coordinate utilities, permits, and construction support.
• Plan budgets, schedules, and overall project execution.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team of managers, engineers, and designers, who represent the top talent in the industry.

Duties and responsibilities

The position performs general project management and civil engineering work under direct supervision of a Principal.
The position will apply fundamental engineering training, knowledge, and experience to supervise design engineers to deliver all tasks for different project types including engineering studies and site investigation reports; land development designs; preparation of Basis of Design (BOD); preparation of fully designed plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), and other engineering reports, cost estimates, and construction support. Typical clients served include Municipalities, DoD agencies, private developers, and other public and private organizations.

• Leading project teams in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates

Qualifications

Education & Experiences
