Position Summary
The role is an experienced Civil Engineer position reporting directly to a Project Manager. The candidate will support the efforts of the Project Manager in team supervision and execution of various civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Engineering Design associated with buildings and parking
- Street improvement design
- Pavement rehabilitation
- Rough and precise grading plans
- Storm design and drainage calculations
- Potable and reclaimed waterlines design
- Sewer pipe design
- Flood control improvements
- Freeway and interchange improvements
- Specifications
- Utility coordination
- Permit processing
- Responsible for some elements of proposals
- Function as an assistant project manager
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in MicroStation InRoads is required; experience with MicroStation InRoads is a mandatory requirement.
- Team leadership
- Client interactions
- Preferred knowledge of public works and DoD agency processes
- Additional software skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to prepare engineering reports with the guidance of a project manager or senior individual.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college (ABET) is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience.
- EIT License (in California), preferred.
- Experience working with DoD agencies like the Navy will be considered a plus.

Salary range: $105,000-$140,000
