Job description

Opportunity

We are seeking a Civil Engineer II to join our Aerospace and Equipment team in Florida. You will work with a team of skilled engineers and architects on projects supporting the Department of Defense and aerospace clients, focusing on the design of federal and aerospace projects across the U.S. and beyond.

Essential Functions

• Perform civil site design tasks using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including research and analysis model development.
• Conduct site investigations, field walks, data collection, and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve design challenges.
• Support the development of contract deliverables with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, and Project Managers.
• Design civil engineering aspects related to grading, storm drains, sewer, water, paving, streets, utilities, water quality, and hydrology/hydraulics.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer license in Florida or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Permitting experience with SJRWMD and FDEP.
• Ability to collaborate and work well in teams.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ICPR 4.
