Job summary

RRC Power and Energy in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Civil Engineer I to support design, development, and management of diverse energy projects. You will conduct on-site investigations, analyze data, and draw up blueprints that meet technical specs while assessing risks and costs.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency (Civil 3D preferred) and experience in Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy. Strong communication skills and ability to manage staff and clients are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Ability to provide own design and production.
• Ability to manage both staff and clients.
• AutoCAD proficiency is a must, Civil 3-D is preferred.
• Experience in Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy.
• Site grading experience a plus.
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Sitting for prolonged hours, standing, walking, and lift up to 15lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other documentation as required.
• Experience in Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy preferred.
