Job summary

RRC Power and Energy in Round Rock, TX seeks a Civil Engineer I to support design and oversight of construction projects in the energy sector. The role involves on-site investigations, data analysis, and creating feasible technical blueprints with guidance from senior staff.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and be proficient with AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
Ability to provide own design and production.
Ability to manage staff and clients.
AutoCAD proficiency is a must; Civil 3-D is preferred.
Experience in Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy is a plus.
Site grading experience is a plus.
Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Manage, design, develop, create and maintain projects from small to large scale.
Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings).
Carry out technical studies and draw up blueprints meeting specifications.
Assess risks, materials and costs and provide advisory solutions.
Oversee staff, liaise with stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor progress and compile project status reports.
